Thoughts...
Author: Richard Hu

Laozi (approx. 550-600BC), a representative ancient Chinese thinker in Taoism school wrote at the beginning of his masterpiece:

"Dynamics that can be illustrated are not eternal dynamics, concepts that can be conceptualized are not eternal concepts"

For this belief, Taoist thinkers use stories to convey understandings of different phenomena. That is probably the same approach as the current popular case-study. Business study is not a persuit of definite knowledge, but an intellectual exercise of dealing with complexity by borrowing knowledge from all other disciplines of studies. It prepares people to manage uncertainty and lead the change, creatively.
